Wow okay. This is a frustrating post to make because I feel almost self-conscious about this piece. I have been trying to find the right balance for a week and I just can't seam to achieve it. It's one of those times where I think I went way too far and not far enough at the same time. Anyhow, I hope you like what redeeming characteristics there are within it.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis is a lyrical and sensuous piece of art. The colors are sublime, and the blending of the contrasting yellow and blue keeps the eye moving and the piece interesting. The pose of the figure is irresistable. The tilt of her head, the glance over her shoulder, all very alluring. Meanwhile the fantastical elements are somewhat disturbing and provide just the right contrast to the sultry appearance of the figure.
This creates an originality and an impact that is provocative and enticing.
The jellyfish, the butterflies, the odd swirls and spheres, all contribute to the fantasy element and the surreal feel of the painting. It certainly is original and shows an eccentric, idiosyncratic, unconventional and unorthodox sensibility.
